Born and raised in Fremantle, WA, Maya Surjan is a dynamic vocalist whose versatility shines across both original and tribute performances. A recent graduate of WAAPA, Maya has captivated audiences with her own shows at renowned venues including the Ellington Jazz Club and the Quarry Amphitheatre, blending her original music with powerful renditions of her favourite artists. Her tribute experience is extensive, having toured nationally with productions such as Seventh Wonder: A Fleetwood Mac Tribute, gracing stages like the Astor Theatre in Perth and the Odyssey Music Festival in Adelaide. With her ability to replicate iconic sounds while adding her own soulful touch, Maya brings depth and authenticity to every performance. As a backup singer in the Pink Floyd tribute band, she channels the ethereal harmonies and vocal textures that define the band’s legendary sound, elevating the live experience for audiences across Australia.
