Gianni Petta is a saxophonist & composer about to enter his final year of studies at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts. He recently spent a month in New York taking part in the Jazz Arts Collective's Summer Jazz program where he was lucky enough to study with legendary Baritone Saxophonist - Gary Smulyan. Gianni can be seen performing regularly around Perth with groups such as the WA Youth Jazz Orchestra's Wednesday Night Orchestra, The Fire-Bug Big Band, and Perth based progressive rock group lovemenot, who featured him on there single - "The Tower". He also regularly performs in musical theatre productions as an orchestra member, as well as leading his own personal creative projects.
